Stop letting an old phone system cost you business

Missed calls, poor audio, a voicemail box nobody checks, and a system only one person knows how to change: these are the complaints we hear from offices on old phone equipment. A cloud phone system brings calling, texting, video and conferencing together in one service that is easier to manage and works wherever your people are.

Choosing a business phone system

Businesses across Minnesota and Wisconsin ask us the same questions when they compare phone systems. These are the ones that decide whether you will be happy with it a year from now.

  • How do calls come in today, and how should they? Draw the path of a call: who answers first, what happens at lunch, what happens after hours. The right system is the one that makes that path simple.
  • Who will change it? Adding a new employee or changing holiday hours should take a few minutes on a web page, or one call to us. If it needs a technician visit every time, it is the wrong system.
  • Is your internet up to it? Voice needs a steady connection more than a fast one. We check yours before recommending anything.
  • What does it cost over three years? Compare the monthly service, the phones and the install together, not the headline price per user.
  • Who do you call when it does not work? With a national provider that is a queue. With us it is a local team that set the system up and can come to your office.

We are vendor-neutral: we work with several phone providers and recommend the one that fits your call volume, your staff and your budget.

How the switch works

  1. Discover. We look at how your office takes calls and what you are paying now.
  2. Plan. You get options with prices, and choose.
  3. Install. We order the equipment, port your numbers, install the phones and build your call flow.
  4. Train and support. We show your staff how to use it, in person, and we are one call away afterwards.

FAQ

Business Phones & VoIP FAQs

What is a business VoIP phone system?

VoIP carries your calls over your internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. Your staff can answer on desk phones, on a computer or on a mobile app, and features such as call routing and voicemail are managed from a web page instead of a box in a closet.

Can we keep our phone numbers?

In almost every case, yes. Your existing local and toll-free numbers are moved (ported) to the new system. We handle the paperwork and schedule the switch so you are not without phones.

Can employees use it from home or on the road?

Yes. Mobile and desktop apps let people make and take calls on the business number, check voicemail and join meetings from wherever they are working. Customers see the business number, not a personal one.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Calls can be set to forward automatically to mobile phones or another location, so customers still reach you. If your business cannot afford any gap, we can also look at a backup internet connection.

Do you install it and train our staff?

Yes. We order it, install it at your office, set up your call flow and show your staff how to use it. A customer at Superior Ice Arena wrote that we 'trained on the options of the system and then set the phone system up to meet our needs.'

How many phones do we need to make it worthwhile?

There is no minimum. The same system serves a three-person office and a business with several locations, and you add users and numbers as you grow.

How much does a business phone system cost?

It depends on the number of users, the phones you choose and the features you need. We give you options with prices after a short conversation about how your office takes calls.
