Start with a free technology review. We go through your computers, network, security and vendors, and tell you where the risks and the waste are. No cost, no obligation. Request a review or call (855) 770-9127.
What a managed IT provider does
Most small and mid-sized offices have nobody whose whole job is the computers. Things get looked at when they break, updates wait, and the backup is assumed to be working. A managed IT provider takes that over. We monitor, maintain and secure your systems all the time, so your people can do their own work instead of fixing printers.
The difference you notice is that small problems are dealt with before they become a morning with no email, and that there is one number to call when you need someone.
What is included
Help desk
When someone on your staff is stuck, they contact our team and get a person who knows your setup. Most requests are solved remotely while they wait.
Monitoring: network, servers and workstations
Remote monitoring tools watch the health of your servers, computers and network equipment and tell us when a disk is filling, a backup fails or a device drops off. We deal with it, usually before it interrupts anyone.
Patching and updates
Out-of-date software is how most break-ins and many failures start. We apply operating system and application updates on a regular schedule, outside your working hours where we can, and check that they took.
Backup and disaster recovery
A failed server, a ransomware attack or a burst pipe should cost you hours, not the business. We set up backups, test that they can be restored, and write down the order things come back in.
Managed network and WiFi
Switches, firewalls and wireless access points are configured, documented and kept current, so the network is fast where people work and guests are kept off the part your files are on.
On-site support
Some jobs need hands. Our office is on Tower Avenue in Superior, and we come to you for installs, moves, cabling problems and training.
Purchasing and licensing
We specify and order computers, network equipment and software licenses, so what you buy fits what you have and you are not paying for licenses nobody uses.
Planning and projects
Office moves, new locations, a server that is due for replacement, a move to cloud email: we plan them with you, including what they will cost, before anything is bought. If you need extra hands for a project or cover for your own IT person, we can supply that too.
Signs it is time to look at this
- The same problems come back every few weeks.
- Nobody is sure when the backup last ran, or whether it could be restored.
- You pay several companies and each one blames another when something fails.
- A staff member has become the unofficial IT person and it is eating their real job.
- Your insurer or a customer has started asking security questions you cannot answer.
- IT costs arrive as surprises instead of a number you planned for.
How we work
- Discover. We sit down with you and go through what you have: equipment, software, vendors and what is going wrong.
- Plan. You get a plan with options and prices. We are vendor-neutral, so the recommendation is what fits you, not what one manufacturer sells.
- Install. We set up monitoring and backups, fix what needs fixing, and do it with as little disruption to your day as we can manage.
- Support. After that there is one number to call, and regular check-ins to adjust things as your business changes.
Why local matters for IT
Remote support solves most things, but not a dead switch, a new hire who needs a desk set up today, or a staff room full of people who have never used the new system. Because we are in Superior, we can be the people who walk in. One customer review reads, “Anytime there is questions or assistance needed, the staff is extremely responsive.”
